DMCA Copyright Policy

SquirtVR respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable laws.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content on SquirtVR infringes your copyright, please provide our designated agent with the following information in writing:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including specific URLs or location information
  4. Your contact information, including name, address, telephone number, and email address
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number
  5. Consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district

Repeat Infringers

It is our policy to terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts at our sole discretion.

Designated Agent

Please send all DMCA notices and counter-notifications to our designated agent through ourContact page with the subject line "DMCA Notice".

We will respond to valid DMCA notices within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 48-72 hours of receipt.

False Claims

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorney's fees.
